Spints offers a weekly dirty pretzel. We went for the Korean Spare Ribs and Kimchi Dirty Pretzel week. Since I am keeping my throw down at pure pretzel consistency as to not get confused, I opted for a traditional pretzel (above) and Vanessa got dirty (below).

The Mustard: Excellent burning notes with tang and a little sourness. A little horseradish heat always makes things better. I needed another round of mustard to make my pretzel better.
The (dirty) Pretzel: This was disappointing and just weird. Rice on top of a pretzel? White man's kimchi? Fatty spareribs? But, it was worth a try and probably just a bad week of being dirty.

It looks ridiculous. Would I try it? Sure. But a couple of the other ones you tried looked much better.
I have to admit that was a really bad dirty pretzel. The kimchi was really just coleslaw made from the stem of the cabbage with some chili sprinkled sparingly about. And the white rice... Blech. Now their Chicken Fried Steak Dirty Pretzel? Amazing...
JustinM - Redank is more like it! Deschutes is still in the lead...
Vanessa - I will go back for a dirty pretzel smothered in something muddy!
That seem like a realy horrible experience;(Think will stick to my recepie of Bavarain ..real good real tasty pretzels;)
We were so dumb in the 90s ;-) On to the next great pretzel!
Dzoli - What?! I want your recipe!! Please...
Gastronomer - I know, right?! I can't believe we've even made it this far...
Yikes! Dirty pretzel? Why re-invent the wheel? The first photo of the plain pretzel looks just fine to me.
Helen - Hah, I know.... but I would totally be down for a dirty Greek pretzel... pour some feta on me :-)
hmm at first thought kimchi pretzel sounded interesting but yeah not for me, traditional pretzel wins everytime in my book!
