Happy Hour at Grüner

Picked beet hard boiled eggs

Liptauer cheese, radishes, celery, pretzel croutons

Rabbit frankfurter, broiche bun & dill pickle relish

Charcuterie plate: salami, spicy coppa, cornichons & mustard

My favorite: bratwurst, sauerkraut & sweet mustard

My least favorite: Duck liver mousse and toast

Aviation: London dry gin, Maraska maraschino, Rothman & Winter crème de violette, lemon juice

Aquabeet: Krogstad aquavit, beet gastrique, lemon juice

I love Gruner, and always forget to take advantage of happy hour. I could eat a dozen of the pickled eggs. Mmmm.

I definitely would have gone for the sausage off the HH menu, but there are a couple of items on the lunch menu that look really good to me.

Everything looks great, with the exception of the rabbit frankfurter (I had several pet bunnies, so I just cannot bring myself to eat anything rabbit!)
