Poutine, Fried Cheese Curds and Class: The Original

B.L.T. Deviled Eggs: Nueske's bacon, frisee, and purple haze

Chorizo Corn Dog

Filled with chorizo, dusted with manchego snow and served with ancho chili ketchup

Potent Punch ($4): everybody loves punch

Fried Cheese Curds with marinara
Cattail Creek Lamb Ribs with pickled vegetables and raita

And, can I please get a drum roll. I finally had poutine! Although I don't think the Original's version is an actual portrayal of the late night Canadian greasy spoon dish, I was happy to fries with gravy and cheese curds.

Chorizo corn dogs? Yes please! Glad you got to sample poutine!

Interesting version of corndogs, you find the most unusual foods Anna!

Fried cheese curds are AWESOME, I hope yours were nice and squeeky!

{insert drum roll}
Congrats on your poutine de-virgining! LOL! The poutine looks good. The only difference being the bright orange cheese curds. In Quebec they use white cheddar cheese curds. No big deal really. But let me say this...The entire meal looks incredible, esp the corn dogs!

JustinM - It's right up your ally, come visit.

peaseporridgepdx - Do it! Only $5 during happy hour.

PeterG - Finally :-)

Ruth - Always looking for it!

Spyros - Thanks for stopping by. One of my friends who ordered the cheese curds is from Wisconsin and mentioned the squeekyness.

Helen - I bet they are better in Quebec, just like the almond croissants. My Wisconsin friend, who ordered the cheese curds, also said that they should be white. Hhhhmmff?

Elra - I bet you could make one up brilliantly. I kind of want to try to make them too.

Ivy - Appetizers in different countries always seem to fascinate me. I think more so than the main dishes.
