Good Tidings on Air New Zealand

Yes, it's strange I booked my ticket from LA to Athens with Air New Zealand. They flew me to London, then Aegean Air took me to Athens. Air New Zealand was one of the best airlines I've ever flown! The stewards were super nice, seating was comfy and spacious  for my six foot frame and they even threw a wine tasting party in the back! Ten hours seemed like two hours.

Made in New Zealand Cassava Chips!

Soda water is my best friend.

Feta Orzo Salad:slowing transitioning from Greece to California

Sunflower spread and white cheddar cheese

Vegetarian dish: I got envious when the announced the non vegetarian dish of lamb pot pie. Damn.

Really good fresh fruit.

"We will commence a wine tasting in the rear of the plane..."
And cheese plates to boot!

Hour 8: Breakfast time: Scones with clotted cream and jam

And vegetarian samosas...for breakfast? Who cares! I've been up for over 24 hours!

I think that might just be the best looking airplane food I've ever seen!

Anna, looks pretty good for airline food but I love the clever wine tasting in the back. A cool way to make a long-haul flight more clever!

I have a sick fascination with airplane food. I'm flying Swiss Air in a few months! Cannot wait!

Diana - TALF approved: fresh and full of fiber!

Chow and Chatter - Hello! Yes wine tasting is now a must for all transatlantic flights.

Peter - There is no better way to cross the atlantic =)

Gastronomer - Airplane food is intriguing. I always get the vegetarian meal so I get served first ;)
